Here are the news! The pretty much last news from the world trip "I'm out! around the world on a bicycle" before it's all over!

I'm currently in the beautiful city of Vienna, where I've been almost 3.5 years ago. Back then I was pretty much a greenhorn when it came to cycling, had just 1000 kilometres on the speedometer and just a vague premonition of what was to come. And now... now it's pretty much the other way around. As an old wise man so to speak I have returned via the same cycle path as then to the city on the Danube. Chocolate is no longer brown but orange, most of the equipment in the panniers was repaired several times or had to be replaced, the memory cards are full of photos and videos and my head feels at least 10kg lighter, although it now has some more years of life experience.
At that time I was only 1000 kilometers in the journey, which finally became the giant project what it is now, and today I am "only" 1000 kilometers away from what I call home then and now. The journey is definitely coming to an end and I am looking forward to being able to hug my loved ones again soon, even though I still have a great deal of respect for everyday life that awaits me in Switzerland.
On my return there will be a small party with drinks and aperitif and of course I will be happy to tell you one or two stories. You'll find all the information below!

But before that, there are still many news, because in the meantime further milestones were reached and new stories about it were published on the website.

It's time to come home!

Actually the trip "I'm out! Around the world on a bicycle" should not exceed 1.5 years. But then everything got out of control and the wanderlust didn't let go. To cycle an average of 80 kilometres daily through unknown areas and to experience the most incredible stories suddenly became normal, even a new comfort zone. And to leave your comfort zone is always difficult...

But now I leave my comfort zone again to come back to European life. Finally take a daily shower again, finally sleep in a normal bed again, finally no more packing my bags every day and above all, finally be able to hug my family and friends again!

After 57'000 kilometres, once around the globe, I finally arrive on 23.11.2019 where I left 3.5 years ago.
And I would be really happy to see as many as possible, because we all haven't seen each other for far too long and even though the adventure was always great, I missed you all very much!

The event is open to the public and everyone is very welcome!
