At the moment I am in Uyuni, a small town in Bolivia, which is famous for its proximity to the largest salt flats in the world. The most famous and largest in the world is the Salar de Uyuni, where I had a lot of fun in the last few days. You can find the story below.

 

From Uyuni I will continue south tomorrow, passing colourful lagoons in the middle of the world's driest desert, the Atacama Desert. After that I already reach another border crossing, the one to Chile. So Patagonia is getting closer in big steps and I am happy to finally be back in the desert - even if this means Christmas without a Christmas tree and mobile phone coverage.
