The sun shines from a bright blue sky on the beautiful Plaza de Armas of the city of Ayacucho in the south of Perú, and I can enjoy this whole spectacle from the balcony of a café. Life can be so beautiful - especially after the difficulties of the past month.

 

It wasn't easy when a little more than a month ago the frame of Chocolate broke in the middle of Perú's snow-covered mountains and I had to take a whole month off. But luck was at my side and only a few weeks after this incident a friend visited me who also brought a new frame with her. Thanks to her and the quick help of Simpel.ch, the bicycle manufacturer, I have been back on the road for almost two weeks now.

 

But the break was not easy, because there was more than just friendship between me and my friend. You can read how this affected the trip in the new blog post " Devil's bride".
